Antique bracelets

As a designer of antique, archaeological and contemporary bracelets, I craft unique pieces from elements steeped in history: coins, amulets, intaglios and archaeological fragments. Each piece of jewellery is assembled by hand, in keeping with the traditions of luxury craftsmanship and expertise that highlight the authenticity of these treasures.

The first currency appeared around 650 BC in the Mediterranean basin, under the impetus of Gyges, king of Lydia, a kingdom in Asia Minor on the Aegean coast. Long before that, China had already been using currencies for exchange since the end of the Neolithic period, notably cowrie shells, which circulated as symbolic and commercial values.

Some ancient coins were minted in quantities of only a few hundred, others in the thousands. Dating back to time immemorial, they remind us that trade between people is as old as the world itself, and that it has always left room for the expression of beauty, even through simple everyday objects. Mounted on bracelets, these relics become contemporary creations, imbued with memory and timeless elegance.
